Items are objects that serve various purposes within Eastern Mind: The Lost Souls of Tong-Nou. They are collected when clicked on and are stored in the Furoshiki.

Furoshiki Edit

The Furoshiki serves no purpose other than to store all other items collected in game. Items can be accessed and used by clicking on the Furoshiki, which appears in the bottom right corner of the screen. It is received from the White Snake at the beginning of the game.

Amulet Edit


The Amulet protects the player from one death before disappearing from the Furoshiki. It can only be used once, and as the game can only be completed by dying and reincarnating, it essentially serves no purpose. It can be exchanged in the Phantom Market for the Tong-Nou Illustrated Book, which is still acquired later in the game if the player chooses not to make this exchange. It is received from the White Snake at the beginning of the game.

Tong-Nou Illustrated Book Edit

The Tong-Nou Illustrated Book contains information about the residents of Tong-Nou. Residents have entries in the book, including an illustration, a basic description, and their likes and dislikes. The illustrations slightly differ from the designs
